Malware is no longer a strange concept, it is the concern for people who regularly download applications, and malware not only aim to harm computers anymore, but smartphones is the main target now.

  • Ransomware: may cripple the device. In order to remove them, the virus requires a payment. However, in some cases the payment of "ransom" usually does not solve the problem and the risk of virus infection is not eliminated.
  • Trojan: It is a malware that infiltrates the device without being suspected. This serves as the door for the penetration of other following malwares.
  • Ver: It may be copy, duplicate viruses to other devices like infected e-mails.

What is Google doing to protect its users?

Google is handling fake application issues by Google Play Protect - a security system for verifying applications on Google Play Store. It checks applications as they are uploaded to Google Play, which will be able to eliminate many other fake and malicious applications.
